Structural strengthening of a 1968 building

Inspection, diagnosis and strengthening design of a residential building with corrosión damage in its joist floor slabs.

The residual capacity of the affected members was assessed and a strengthening scheme with carbon fibre laminates and steel sections was designed, compatible with the building staying occupied.
